AI instructions give Cobrief background about your company and rules for how you want to write. The instructions are shared across the workspace. Update them when your business changes, or when the AI keeps repeating something you want to adjust.
Find and edit the instructions
Open Library → AI instructions.
Update one or more of the three fields below.
Click "Save" at the bottom when you are finished.
The changes apply to new AI work. Saving new instructions does not rewrite existing bid texts. Ask the agent to revise the text you want to change, then check the result.
Tell the AI about the company
Describe what you deliver, who you deliver to, and other facts that apply to the whole business. Put supporting documents and detailed descriptions in the knowledge base.
Example: "We operate and maintain ventilation systems for municipalities and commercial buildings. We carry out work in Oslo and Akershus."
Highlight your strengths
Describe strengths you can support with evidence. Be specific about your experience and methods. Avoid claims such as "best" or "market-leading".
Example: "For maintenance contracts, we provide a dedicated contact person and document service visits in a written report. Use relevant reference projects as sources."
Define your writing style
Give short rules for tone, wording, and structure.
Example: "Write short sentences and use active verbs. Address the customer as 'you'. Explain how we will solve the task before describing general experience. Do not add figures or certifications without a source."
Improve the instructions after a bid
Review the instructions briefly after your first few bids. Repeat this when you introduce new services, change your methods, or update certifications.
If you keep correcting the same type of wording, add a clear rule:
Before: "Write professionally."
After: "Start with how we meet the customer's needs. Use short paragraphs. Avoid general introductions about the importance of quality."
Try the new rule on one response before using it more widely. Remove rules that contradict each other or no longer apply.
The instructions guide the AI. You still need to check facts, requirements, and source references before submission.
