📅 Use the calendar and export deadlines

Find important dates for saved tenders and add individual deadlines to your own calendar.

Written by Audun Wigum Arbo

The calendar brings together dates for tenders you have saved for evaluation, are working on or have submitted bids for. It shows submission deadlines, qualification deadlines, question deadlines and invitations to submit a bid when these dates are available on the tender.

The calendar is available during the trial and on a paid subscription. On the free plan, it is locked in the menu.

Find a deadline

  1. Open Calendar in the main menu.

  2. Use the arrows to move between months. Upcoming deadlines lists dates from today onwards.

  3. Use Filter to narrow the view to an owner or a notice type.

  4. Click an event to see the date, time and tender. Select Open procurement to read more.

If several events fall on the same day, click the number with the plus sign to see the rest.

Add a deadline to your own calendar

Click the event and choose one of these options:

  • Add to Google Calendar opens a new event in Google Calendar. Review the details and save it there.

  • Add to Outlook opens a new event in Outlook on the web. Review the details and save it there.

  • Download .ics downloads a calendar file you can open or import in your calendar app.

The event includes the deadline name, time and a link back to the tender. It has a duration of one hour in your calendar. The start time is the deadline itself.

This creates a copy of one event. Later changes in Cobrief do not update the copy automatically. If the contracting authority changes the deadline, you need to update your own calendar too.

Is a tender or date missing?

Check that the tender is saved for evaluation, in progress or among submitted bids in Pipeline. Tenders in the inbox and tenders with the status No-go, Won, Lost, Cancelled or Hidden do not appear in the calendar.

Remove any filters. If the date is still missing, open the tender and check the dates there. The calendar shows the four date types listed at the start of this article. Other dates may appear on the tender without appearing in the calendar. Always check the deadline in the tender documents and the procurement portal before submitting your bid.
