Give customer support temporary access
Cobrief customer support can request temporary access to your workspace to help you. The request shows who is asking, the reason and the requested duration.
Who can approve access?
You need permission to manage users in the workspace. Administrators have this permission. The request applies to the workspace it was sent to.
Approve or decline a request
When the request appears in Cobrief:
Check the name under Requested by, the Reason and the Duration.
Select Approve access if you want to grant access.
Select Decline if you do not want to grant access.
Closing the window does not decline the request. Use Decline to reject it.
What access are you granting?
Approval creates a temporary user with the administrator role in the workspace. Customer support can then view and change the content and settings that this role can access.
Access is not limited to one screen or document. See Roles and permissions in Cobrief for what the administrator role includes.
How long does access last?
The duration is shown in the request. The period starts when you approve it, and access expires automatically when the period ends.
You can find active support access under Settings → Manage users. The banner shows who has access and how much time is left.
End access early
Open Settings → Manage users in the workspace.
Find the support access banner.
Click End access.
You need permission to manage users to end access. Customer support must send a new request if you need another access period.
