Cobrief normally fetches the competition basis automatically from Mercell when the documents are publicly available. Follow the guide below if the documents are missing in Cobrief or you need them outside the platform.
For quick access to the competition basis, we recommend creating a free user in Mercell. Click "Download the competition documents in Mercell" and click "Register" at the bottom of the sign-in screen you see. It may take some time for Mercell to create a user for you, and you may be contacted by a salesperson, but you do not need a paid Mercell subscription to follow the steps below.
You can now click "Download the competition documents in Mercell" to get the entire basis as a single zip file.
While you wait to get a free user created, you can download from the "Public download link".
To download without a free user in Mercell, follow the steps below:
Choose "Public download link (no login required)".
Go to the bottom of the page and click on one of the files you want to download.
The page will now reload, and a "Download only" button will appear at the bottom of the page; click on this.
The page will reload again, and you can now click on each individual file to download them. Note: it is important that you download everything from both "Files" and "System-generated files".
