Several procurers have now adopted Ivalua as their procurement system. For Cobrief to be able to analyse the competition, you first need to fetch the documents from their portal. The steps below show how to fetch the documents. The setup may vary between buyers.
1. Open the Competition From Cobrief
Open the tender in Cobrief.
Under Fetch the competition basis, click Direct link to the competition basis in Ivalua.
2. Solve the CAPTCHA
Ivalua often asks you to confirm that you are human before the page opens. Type the characters you see and submit.
3. Download the Documents
You land straight on the tender page in Ivalua. The notice documents section lists the documents that make up the competition basis, such as contract documents and tender rules.
Click the icons in the attachments column to download the files.
Download all relevant documents to your machine.
The heading shows which lot you are viewing, for example "Delkontrakt: 1" (lot 1). If the competition is split into several lots, the documents may be on separate pages. Find the right lot in the notice on Doffin or TED and follow the link from there.
4. Upload to Cobrief
Once you have saved the files, go back to the tender in Cobrief:
Drag and drop the files under Upload the competition basis, or click Upload.
Click Start evaluation of the tender. Cobrief reads through the competition basis and gives you the overview you need to assess the tender and write the bid.
Tip: Are you experiencing the system being in French? Ivalua is a French system, and in some cases the language can reset. You can change the language to Norwegian or English under your user settings or via the flag icon at the top of the menu.
