Several procurers have now adopted Ivalua as their procurement system. For Cobrief to be able to analyse the competition, you first need to fetch the documents from their portal. Here is the exact procedure:
1. Find the Right Competition in the Overview
When you click the link from Cobrief or Doffin, you are now sent to a general overview page of all announcements at Ivalua.
Use the keyword field at the top left if you don't see your tender right away.
Click on the title to the left of the relevant tender to open the details page.
2. Find the Competition Basis
Inside the page for the selected competition, you will see information about deadlines and a description.
Click on the title or the pencil icon of the tender you want to view.
Go to Ivalua announcement documents.
Here you will see a list of all attachments and documents that make up the competition basis.
3. Downloading (Important About CAPTCHA)
At the moment, Ivalua has a security setting that requires you to verify yourself in order to download files:
You have to enter a CAPTCHA code for each individual file you want to download.
Download all relevant documents (requirement specification, contract terms, etc.) to your machine.
4. Upload to Cobrief
Once you have saved the files locally, go back to your project in Cobrief:
Drag and drop the files into Cobrief.
Cobrief will now read through the competition basis and give you the overview you need to start assessing the tender and writing the bid.
Tip: Are you experiencing the system being in French? Ivalua is a French system, and in some cases the language can reset. You can change the language to Norwegian or English under your user settings or via the flag icon at the top of the menu.
