When a competition is decided, you can register the outcome directly in Cobrief and upload the award decision letter and other result documents on the tender. That way the whole team has the answer in one place – and you don't have to dig through your inbox for the award decision letter the next time you wonder why it went the way it did.
What you register is gathered in the results overview and gives the AI a better basis for future competitions.
Registering results and uploading result documents requires a paid plan. Everyone in the workspace can see the result, but you need permission to manage tenders to register and edit it. Read more about roles and permissions.
Register the result
When you move a tender to Won, Lost or Cancelled – in the pipeline or from the tender page – the "Register result" dialog opens automatically. Everything is optional, so you can skip it and fill it in later.
For a won tender you can register the contract value (in whole kroner) and a comment about what was decisive for your win.
For a lost tender you can choose a reason for loss – for example price, quality, or references and experience – and add a comment.
For a cancelled tender you can note why the competition was cancelled.
Click "Save" when you're done, or "Skip" if you want to register the details later.
Upload the award decision letter and other documents
In the same dialog you can upload the documents that belong to the result. Drag the files into the upload area, or click "Choose files".
Cobrief detects the document type automatically, so each document gets a badge showing whether it's an award decision letter, access to competitors' bids or other. That makes it easy to find the right document again later.
Find the result on the tender
After saving, you'll find everything under Result on the tender page:
Your outcome – status, any reason for loss, comment and contract value, along with who registered the result and when.
Documents – the award decision letter and other files you've uploaded. Click "Add more documents" to upload more.
Click "Edit" to change the outcome, for example if you first chose "Don't know yet" as the reason for loss and have learned more after reviewing the competitors' bids.
Publicly announced award
When the contracting authority announces the award publicly, it also appears in the result module as a separate block labelled "From Doffin". There you'll see the winner, contract value and number of tenders, among other things, as announced. That way you can easily compare your own registration with the official announcement.
Get an overview of your results
Under Pipeline → Results the team gets a combined overview of won and lost tenders, including the most common reason for loss once you've registered enough results. That makes it easier to spot patterns over time – and to know where to focus in the next competition.
