When a public competition is decided, the buyer publishes a result notice. Cobrief now follows these for you: you see who won, what the contract is worth and how many bids were submitted – in the same search that brings you new tenders.
What is a result notice?
A result notice is the official notice published after a competition has been decided. In Cobrief you'll find four types:
Contract award notice: Who won the competition, the contract value and how many bids came in.
Notice of intent: The buyer announces that they intend to award a contract to a specific supplier.
Contract modification notice: Changes to a contract that has already been signed.
Cancellation or missing contract award: The competition was cancelled, or no contract was awarded.
Result notices come from the same sources as the tender notices, with Doffin for Norwegian notices and TED for the rest of Europe.
New results in the pipeline
Result notices matching your company's tender search are collected in Pipeline under Results → New. There you'll see results from the last two months, without them mixing with active competitions in your inbox. Click a result to open the competition and see all the details of the award.
Find results in the search
You can also look up results yourself:
Open Search in the left menu.
Under the Notice type filter, select Result.
In the list view you get dedicated result columns: Winners, Number of bids, Actual contract value, Announced value and Result documents.
Tip: Click a company in the Winners column to open the supplier profile, where you can see everything the company has won and participated in. Read more in the article about market insight.
Get notified about new results
Your tender alerts now include results too. The morning brief email has its own section with new results, and Slack and Teams alerts count result notices alongside new competitions. Read how to set up alerts in the article about tender alerts.
Turn the result phase off or on
Results are enabled for all companies. If you only want to follow active competitions, you can turn them off:
Go to Settings → Tender Search → Search Overview.
Under Which phases should be included? you'll find Result – awarded contracts, notices of intent, and cancellations.
Uncheck it to stop following results. You can turn it back on at any time.
Only administrators can change the company's search settings.
What can you use the results for?
Learn from the competitions you follow: See who won, how many participated and what the contract ended up at.
Map your competitors: Keep track of which contracts your competitors win, and when they expire.
Position yourself early: A contract that is about to expire is a good hint that a new tender is on its way.
