📣 Where does Cobrief get the announcements from?

Written by Yoki Kahsay

We retrieve all public tenders directly from the official databases.

For Norwegian tenders, this is Doffin, the national database for public procurement. We also retrieve tenders from national databases in other countries, such as udbud.dk in Denmark and Hilma in Finland, and from TED – the EU's common notice database – for the rest of Europe.

Together this covers more than 30 European countries. You choose which countries you want tenders and tender alerts from, under Search Overview -> Countries and locations. See which countries we cover, and how far back our data goes.

Tenders above the EU thresholds must be published in TED before they can be published nationally. For Norwegian tenders we therefore wait for the Norwegian original from Doffin, so the alert you receive is in Norwegian rather than the English-only TED copy. Tenders from other countries are alerted as soon as the notice has been ingested, in the language it was published in.
