πŸ”” Set Up Tender Alerts

Add more people to the alerts, or get notified directly in Slack.

Written by Jonas Klafstad

Get alerts by email, Slack or Teams when new relevant tenders are published. Alerts are set up by going to Settings -> Notifications in the bottom left.

All alerts are based on the filters set up for the company, including CPV codes, keywords, relevance score and procurers. You can set up as many alerts as you want. For example, you can set up a real-time alert in Slack while also receiving a weekly email digest.

Email Alerts

  1. Click "Create new alert".

  2. Then choose email. You can only set up alerts to yourself and colleagues who have access to Cobrief.

  3. Choose who should receive the email alert if you have selected email as the channel.

  4. Choose when you want to be notified. All alerts are sent at 07:00 in the morning, except for real-time alerts which are sent when the competition is announced on Doffin.

For a colleague to receive alerts they need to have been invited to your workspace.

Slack Alerts

If your company uses Slack, we recommend setting up alerts via Slack, since this makes it easier to collaborate and discuss new tenders that come up internally.

Select "Slack" and start by connecting Cobrief to your Slack workspace. Click "Connect to Slack" and give Cobrief permission to send messages in your Slack.

Once Slack is connected, you can enter the channel where you want to receive alerts. We recommend creating a brand new channel, e.g. called "tenders". If you set it as private, you'll need to invite Cobrief to the channel, so the easiest option is to make it public.

Enter the channel you want to connect to and click "Test alert" to verify that alerts appear as expected in the channel.

Finally, choose when alerts should be sent. The advantage of choosing real-time delivery for new announcements is that you'll get a notification and message per tender, which can be better when discussing specific tenders internally. If you choose every weekday, you won't get alerts on weekends or at night, which can happen with real-time delivery.

Microsoft Teams Alerts

You can also enable alerts directly in a Teams channel. Read the detailed steps in our help article on setting up Teams alerts.
