See why a tender received its score
Open the tender from the morning brief or Pipeline and click the relevance score. The explanation shows which CPV codes, keywords and prioritised buyers contributed to the score.
The score ranges from 0 to 100. It describes how the tender matches the workspace's search profile. It does not assess whether you meet the competition's requirements.
Example: A relevant tender only has one broad CPV code you follow. It may receive a lower score than a tender with several precise matches. Open the explanation and check which codes the buyer actually used before changing the search.
You can open the explanation during the trial and on a paid subscription. This requires the Administrator or Member role. Only an Administrator can change the search profile.
Changes to the search profile apply to the whole workspace and affect shared tender alerts. Check which other tenders are affected before removing a code.
If you see an irrelevant match, an Administrator can open the relevance score and consider removing the code that caused it. From there, you can see every competition that would be removed from your search by removing that code. Changes to the tender search are saved and update the search for the whole workspace.
The same applies to relevant tenders with low scores. Click the relevance score to see codes the buyer selected that are missing from your search, and add them using the plus button.
Cobrief can also suggest codes to remove based on tenders you have hidden. Check the suggestions before changing the search profile.
Which relevance threshold is used in alerts?
An Administrator selects the threshold under Settings → Search Overview → Relevance Score. The choice is saved immediately. 60+ means shared tender alerts only include matches with at least 60 points.
Changing the relevance filter in Pipeline only changes the list you see. Alerts still use the saved threshold in Search Overview. Your personal saved searches use their own filters and have no such relevance threshold.
Cannot make changes?
Ask an Administrator in the workspace to adjust the search profile. A Member can view the explanation but cannot change the profile. Contributors cannot open the explanation. Relevance scores are locked on the free plan.
