💬 Comments and activity on tenders

Share clarifications with colleagues and see when a tender has changed status.

Written by Audun Wigum Arbo

Use the comment field on a tender to keep clarifications and assessments together for your workspace. Comments are not sent to the contracting authority.

Activity and comments are available during the trial and on a paid subscription. On the free plan, the activity section is not shown on the tender.

Write a comment

  1. Open the tender and find Activity on the overview page.

  2. Write in the Add a comment… field.

  3. Type @ and select a colleague if you want to mention them.

  4. Click the Send comment arrow button.

Users with the Contributor role can also comment. Mentions can send your colleague an activity notification. Read more about channels and settings in Activity notifications.

Read and follow up on the conversation

Comments appear in a single chronological list. If there are more than two posts, only the first and the last are shown. Click Show … replies to display the rest.

Write a new comment to reply, and mention the person you are replying to if helpful. The list does not have separate reply threads under each comment.

On your own comments, open the three-dot menu and select Edit comment or Delete comment. After an edit, the comment is marked as edited.

See when the tender changed status

Click Show all activities next to Activity. This also shows status changes, including when they happened and who made them. Select Hide activities to return to the comments.

When a comment requires action

Create a separate task when something needs an owner, deadline and status. Copy the relevant details from the comment into the task. There is no option to convert a tender comment directly into a task.

See What are tasks in Cobrief? for creating, assigning and following up on tasks.
